Andrea Buritica, NYC documentary wedding and film photographer

Hi, I’m Andrea Buritica

I’m a Colombian photographer based in NYC. I work on film and digital, documenting weddings as they unfold.

I photograph queer, multicultural, and non-traditional celebrations and their people with a documentary eye and calm direction. I care about how it feels to be photographed. I care about the people who raised you. I care about the way your community shows up for you

Your wedding isn’t a production. It’s a gathering.
I’m there to witness it honestly.

Experience

Film included.
Steady direction.
Community-centered storytelling.

I’ll guide when needed, step back when it matters, and document your day as it unfolds. Calm. Observant. Intentional.

  • Full-day documentary coverage on film and digital.
Focused on how your people show up, not how the day performs.

*Full day collections start at $6,750.

  • Intimate celebrations up to 3 hours.
    Intentional, stripped back, and story-driven.

  • Engagements, in-home sessions, and creative collaborations.
Relaxed, natural, and rooted in connection.

  • Moving memory on film.
    Grain, light, sound, and presence.

If your celebration feels like a gathering,
I’d love to document it.
